Ivel U10  vs  Taunton U10  -  Sunday 29th November 2009
 

Ivel under 10's produced the performance of the season to hold a strong Taunton side to two tries apeiece in the second of 2 games at Ivel this sunday. 

In the first game, ivel were asleep and some strong running from Taunton gave them 5 tries to Ivels one from Kyle Evans at fly half sniping an over throw at the back of the line out. 

However in the second game Ivel came alive, some excellent tacking from William, Josh, fergus and Kyle kept Taunton out and some strong running from Fergus produced Ivels first try followed shortly after by a short range power through from Tom Pitman.  Taunton responded with two quick tries and then kept attacking but some consistent strong defence in long periods kept them out.

Ivel U10  vs  Weymouth U10  vs  Bridgwater U10   -  Sunday 7th February 2010
 

The U10 had a significant victory for the second outing in a row against a much bigger and more powerful Bridgwater side.  Bridgwater were no match for the skilful running of the Ivel backs with Kyle, Fergus and Max leading the way to a 20-5 win. 

In the second match of the day against a depleted Weymouth side, Ivel had to lend the visitors 3 players to make up the numbers with those three payers excelling in both effort and skill.  The Ivel influence helped Weymouth to a win by 4 tries to 3 and further Ivel help ensured that the final game between Weymouth and Bridgewater could go ahead.

A great morning of rugby from the U10s building on the big win against Tor 2 weeks ago but even more impressive is the numbers turning out for training and matches which means that we can actually field two sides at present.
