Zoobeer scored in the first 5 mins of the game, which was an excellent start for Ivel. However, Bridgwater picked up their game and pushed Ivel back with good discipline and drive. Ivel made some good headway but Bridgwater were the stronger side with their key player making an almost full length run of the pitch to score an unconverted try. Ivel lost form and didn't use their line like they managed to do brilliantly against Frome last week, allowing Bridgwater to take the advantage forcing the play into Ivel's half where they scored again. The scores going in to half time were Ivel 5, Bridgwater 10.
A good start to the second half from Ivel who came out fighting. Bridgwater were plagued with injuries, which showed how hard Ivel were tackling, but they still maintained good momentum with Ivel finding it hard to match. Ivel spotted an advantage and took it with Dan Kennett powering his way over the line to get a converted try. Ivel lacked lustre towards the end of the match allowing Bridgwater to push them back up to the field to score another converted try.
