Following 2 months without a match, the U14s really clicked today with the scoreline not giving due credit to Frome, who battled to the end and, but for a few dropped balls/knock ons, would have responded on numorous occasions.

A big Ivel squad of 23 players left the coaches with a few challenges but all players had at least half a game and the strength in depth was obvious as the team continued to dominate.

An awesome effort from the pack won all but one of the scrums, with the front row of Harry Palmer, James Haiselden and Aaron Williams outstanding throughout.

The backs profited from this 1st phase ball with all 15 players routinely involved in the play - truly "champagne" rugby.

Try scorers were Dan Kennett (x4), Harry Young, Dan Luck, Will Moore, Zubair Asefi, Jake Oliver, Jake Morgan, Jack Willis and Bradon Williams (apologies if I missed anyone) with Jake Oliver (x3) and Dan Kennett adding conversions.

It was difficult to single out a single player as "man of the match" but Aaron William's contribution at Loose Head, coupled with his efforts all round the park, cheeky interception (offside?), 30 metre charge and then awareness to put in a try scoring pass to Jake Morgan made him stand out from the rest - but only just -  in what was the best overall performance from the U14s all season.

Zubair Asefi, made a try scoring first start for Ivel and shows much promise for the future.
