The score line reflected an excellent performance from Ivel, but doesn't reflect the effort of the visitors who competed well all the way through.  Both teams were lacking full squads and Ivel loaned M-S-N two players to balance things out.

The first half was all Ivel with excellent forward play linking with precise backs play and M-S-N missing too many tackles.

The second half was much closer with M-S-N only just missing out on a score following a period of sustained pressure.

A special mention for James Cohen, Mike Roberts, Harry Young and Dan Luck who all took a half playing for M-S-N and Jon Hicks who went off for the final minutes to keep things equal when a M-S-N was injured - all demonstrated the spirit of fair play and true ethos of rugby.
